BenQ is 27-incher PD2710QC with USB-C-docking station before

BenQ has its display series “Monitors for Designer” to the 27-inch model PD2710QC has expanded. It comes with an integrated USB-C-docking station, which is designed to provide additional flexibility and offers a 100% coverage of the rec. 709- and the standard RGB color space (sRGB). The PD2710QC is available end of may for a suggested retail selling price of 749 euros in trading.

the screen comes with a frame width of only 7 mm, delivers a WQHD resolution of 2560 times 1440 pixels in 16:9 format, as well as 8-bit color depth, and promises a 100 percent compliance with the rec. 709- and the standard RGB color space (sRGB). The viewing angle is 178 degrees thanks to blink strong angle IPS panel horizontally as well as vertically. The brightness is the manufacturer with 350 cd / m ², contrast ratio 1000:1 and response time with 5 milliseconds.

the foot of the PD2710QC docking is used as a USB-C station. A notebook that is positioned on the base is connected via a single USB-C cable. This ensures a fast data transfer of up to 5 GB / s and powered the notebook at the same time. The USB-C connection can be used also for the charging of tablets and Smartphones with USB-C connection. The docking station offers the C USB port more connectivity, including four USB-3.1 ports, an Ethernet port, a DisplayPort, and a headphone jack. BenQ included two 2-Watt speakers for playback of audio files.

thanks to the multi stream transport technology (MST) can be connected up to three additional monitors via daisy chain with the screen.
